New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has played down concerns over Breece Hall after the running back suffered a groin strain during practice on Monday.
Hall reportedly pulled up after catching a swing pass during the Jets’ morning session before falling to the ground and receiving attention from trainers.
“Hall caught a swing pass and then pulled up and fell down. Trainers are looking at his right thigh,” reporter Brian Costello wrote on social media.
The incident sparked concern among Jets fans ahead of the start of the 2026 NFL season, but Glenn later indicated the injury was not considered serious.
“I don’t think it was a big deal,” Glenn told reporters, confirming Hall had suffered a strained groin.
The update suggests the 25-year-old could avoid a lengthy spell on the sidelines as New York prepares for its season opener against the Tennessee Titans.
Hall has emerged as a key player for the Jets and recorded the first 1,000-yard rushing season of his NFL career in 2025.
The Jets still have preseason games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants before facing the Titans in Week 1.
