Veteran pass rusher Von Miller has agreed to join the Dallas Cowboys, bringing the future Hall of Famer back to his home state of Texas.
The Cowboys announced the signing on Sunday night, while a source told ESPN that Miller has agreed to a one-year contract.
“Hereee Weee Gooo,” Miller posted on social media alongside an image of himself wearing a Cowboys uniform.
The 37-year-old, who attended DeSoto High School in Texas before playing at Texas A&M, is entering his 15th NFL season.
Miller is expected to join a Dallas pass-rush rotation featuring Rashan Gary, Donovan Ezeiruaku and first-round pick Malachi Lawrence.
He recorded nine sacks for the Washington Commanders last season, his highest total since registering 9.5 while playing for the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams in 2021.
Miller was selected by Denver in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft and has since earned eight Pro Bowl selections and seven first- or second-team All-Pro honours.
He has won two Super Bowls and was named Super Bowl 50 MVP after helping the Broncos win the championship following the 2015 season.
